EXPECTATIONS

J Sutton and Co Moving Services LLC’s scale of performance for its moving providers is based upon a moving contractors’ individual and team expectations that are listed as follows:

INDIVIDUAL EXPECTATIONS

As for Individual expectations, you are expected to::

    • Prepare materials, by wrapping, boxing, shrink wrapping furniture for safe long-distance transportation.
    • Must be able to utilize physical ability to safely lift and carry heavy objects
    • Load and unload items from moving trucks, portable storage containers,
    • Properly and safely use moving equipment and tools.
    • Dismantle basic household items
    • Conduct themselves in the presence of customers 
    • Set up items in customers homes, offices and business.
    • Successfully work alone or as a member of a team, 
    • Licensed providers must Safely drive a rental truck, when necessary
    • Be accountable for your work.
    • Be flexible about jobs and task assignments.
    • Ask for help when needed.
    • Work safely together.

 

TEAM EXPECTATIONS

As for team expectations, you are expected to:

    • Respect each other, and be courteous and sensitive to everyone’s needs and concerns.
    • Be accountable for your work.
    • Be flexible about job and task assignments.
    • Be willing to help each other instead of displaying an “it’s not my job” attitude.
    • Ask for help when needed.
    • Work safely together.
    • Be open to constructive feedback without being defensive or negative.
    • Be self-motivated and reliable.
    • Share ideas for improvement.
    • Be cheerful, positive and encouraging to other team members
